The Oldfield-Pike Project is a blog maintained by Mr Oldfield and Mr Pike.

Two friends battling against injustices, ignorance, intolerance and generally all those illiberal ideas and practices which plague society.

Writing in a superbly analytical style, reflecting their excellent education in History and Politics from the Univeristy of Reading, with a smattering of Economics thrown in for good measure.

Mr Oldfield is of centre-left persuasion and backs the Labour Party.

Mr Pike is of centre-right persuasion and backs the Conservative Party.

They are both progressives – generally the only thing they agree upon.

The Oldfield-Pike Project is committed to a fair evaluation of all topics of interest to them.
